And all of a sudden classes are starting again, someone lit a cigar in the cannon room, the turtles and goats got loose again, and all hell is breaking loose. It's that time: the beginning of a new year. We've got some good stuff coming up, like three shows in two weeks (!). Add to that arrrditions hurtling at us like crazy mutant flying fish, and we're about ready to hit the bottle...more than usual.
In the mean time, our crew page is updated with fancy bios, and our gallery is up again, so you have plenty of pirately fun to entertain yourself with.

This Thursday the crew of ARRR!!! will be lending its many talents to College Hill Kick-off. We'll have two brief (fifteen, twenty minute-ish) sets:
9:30, Sigma Chi
10:40, Thete
It's not much. It's like a tasty appetizer. An appetizer for International Talk like a Pirate Day. That sucker's going to be huge. While these two College Hill Kick-off sets will be identical, there will be no shanties sung on both Thursday and next Monday (except Grog). Why are we telling you this? Because Thursday is the start of the greatest pirate-show extended-weekend yet, and we fully expect to see you at all of it.
This is it.
This is going to be one of the greatest shows ever. We want freshmen to arrrdition, so we're pulling all the stops, getting all dolled up, and drinking like we've never drunk before. On top of that it is the holiest of holy days: Talk Like A Pirate Day.

We have all our best songs (for new and old fans alike!). We have a new sketchy sketch (a long one!). The Nelson's Challenge will return (three times!).
So bring friends. Bring family. Bring freshmen...even if you don't know them. Talk like a pirate. Be merry. Come to as many of our shows as humanly possible.
Well, our crazy week is now in full swing. After the insane lengths of debauchery we went to for Talk Like A Pirate Day, six of us have massive hangovers, three of us can't find our shirts, and one of us can't get the smell of pelted oranges out of his hair.

That's right. TLAPD was just lead-off--the Ichiro of ways to start off a week. Arrrditions will be Ortiz, Bonds, and Guerrero rolled into one incomprehensible force.

Thursday and Friday, from 3:00-6:00 (or later if necessary), in the Zete lounge. Zete is the frat on Patriots court right by the Ratty. It has big swings and a jolly roger.
